Envy Launches Tinder For Products, Services

San Diego-based startup Envy has launched a new, visual search engine, which takes Tinder's swipe left and swipe right approach to the world, to reviewing products and services. The startup, founded by Jennifer Cosco and Christopher Nebel, says that its mobile app lets users review products and services by simply swiping right if they love it, and left if they don't. The app--available for iOS now, with an Android version coming--says the idea behind the app is to let consumers find the things they love, by swiping through images, rather than reading reviews. The company said that the app might be used for finding a hairstyle you want, and using that to book an appointment with the stylist who created that style, or also for nails, tattoos, plastic surgery, weddings, food, and other categories.
