Hixme Adds $14.1M In Funding

Agoura Hills-based Hixme, a startup developing group insurance products for large organizations, has raise $14.1M more in funding, the company announced this morning. The Series B funding was led by Propel Venture Partners, and also included Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield and Byers (KPCB), Transamerica Ventures and Rosemark Capital. The company says it has now raised $26.6M in funding. As part of the funding, Propel's Thomas Whiteaker and Rosemark's Chris Kuenne have joined the company's board of directors.
