San Jose-based PayPal has released a new version of its iPhone application, PayPal Send Money. The firm said the application allows iPhone users to transfer money between PayPal accounts, including through a "bump" of two iPhones. The new application also supports splitting checks, and a way to request money from multiple people for joint gifts, team dues, and other activities. The firm said the app is available for free.
