Accelerite Buys Convirture

Santa Clara-based Accelerite, a developer of software used for IT infrastructure management in the enterprise, said this morning that it has acquired Convirture. Financial details of the deal were not announced. Convirture is a developer of unified management tools for virtual and cloud environments. Accelerite said it will continue to offer Convirture's ConVirt software as an independent offering. Accelrite is led by Nara Rajagopalan.
