Autodesk Competes ECSCAD Buy

San Rafael-based Autodesk said earlier this week that it has completed its acquisition of the assets of Elektro-CAE-Software GmbH (ECS), maker of ECSCAD, a CAD software suite for electrical controls designers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The deal was originally announced on August 20th. ECS was acquired from German firm Mensch und Maschine Deutschland GmbH, a member of the Mensch und Maschine group.
