Autodesk Hires New CFO

San Rafael-based computer-aided design software maker Autodesk revealed this morning that it has hired Mark J. Hawkins as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Hawkins, the firm said, will report to Carl Bass, the company's chief executive officer. Autodesk said Hawkins hails from computer peripherals manufacturer Logitech International, where he had served as CFO and senior vice president of finance and information technology since 2006. Before Logitech, Autodesk noted, Hawkins was vice president of Dell's U.S. consumer and international services units. He began his career at Hewlett-Packard in 1981.
