AutoMD.com Acquired By Automotive Retailer

San Jose-based AutoMD.com, an online web site providing technology for diagnosing automotive problems, has been acquired. According to Carson, California-based U.S. Auto Parts, it will acquire and enhance AutoMD. AutoMD was founded in 2004 by Erwin and Eugene Reyes. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. U.S. Auto Parts said it will enhance the existing AutoMD.com site and build out its technology.
