BaySand Buys FalconX Accelerator For DSP IP

San Jose-based BaySand, a developer of configurable, application ASICs, has acquired FalconX Accelreator, a provider of low power, digital signal processing (DSP) IP cores. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. BaySand said the acquisition will help it address new markets and add capabilities for its customers. BaySand is led by Salah Werfelli; FalconX Accelerator was led by Udi Yuhjtman.
