Bessemer Taps Eloqua Vet For CTO-In-Residence
Menlo Park-based venture investor Bessemer Venture Partners said today that it has named former Eloqua Chief Archiect Umair Akeel as the firm's own Chief Technology Officer In Residence, as well as an Operating Partner. The firm said Akeel will help serve as a technology resource to all of its portfolio companies, and also help it with analyzing technology trends and products globally. Umair was Chief Architect at Eloqua through its IPO and recent acquisition by Oracle, and also served at Trigo Technologies.
