Box Buys Subspace

Los Altos-based Box, the provider of cloud data storage, said this week that it has acquired Subspace, a company developing secure collaboration and access software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Box is hiring all of Subspace's seven employees, and shutting down the service on April 3rd. Subspace was founded by Jon Fan, Ben Kus and Peter Loer. Subspace was based in San Francisco.
