Cisco Completes NewScale Buy

San Jose-based Cisco announced Friday that it has completed its acquisition of NewScale, which develops IT management software. Financial details of the acquisition have not been announced by the company. NewScale was venture backed by Chess Ventures, Crosslink Capital, Menlo Ventures, Montagu Newhall Associates, New Enterprise Associates, Parker Price, and Wasatch Cross Creek Capital.
