Coastcom Acquired By Canadian Firm
Alameda-based CoastCom, a manufacturer of metro network products, has been acquired by a Canadian firm, Bayly Communications, Bayly said today. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to Bayly, Coastcom will remain in Alameda as Coastcom. Bayly Communications provides design and implementation services for the telecommunications market; Coastcom manufactures and supplies metro/access network products, including CWDM, ROADM, SONET/SDH and other telecommunications equipment.
