Ecast Gets $20M

San Francisco-based Ecast has received $20M in a new funding round, the firm said today. Ecast develops a network of broadband and touch-screen enabled jukeboxes. The funding came from Focus Ventures, and included participation by Mobius Venture Capital, Crosslink Capital, DCM, and El Dorado Ventures. The firm said it will use the funding to expand its sales channel, target new markets, increase research and development, and supplement sales and marketing. Ecast has been around since 1999.
