ElasticBox Acquired By CenturyLink

San Francisco-based ElasticBox, a developer of cloud application delivery and configuration software, has been acquired by CenturyLink, CenturyLink announced this morning, in an effort to bolster its end-to-end network, multi-cloud and hybrid IT services. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. ElasticBox has offices in both San Francisco and Madrid, and was led by Carol Carpenter. ElasticBox was venture backed by a16z seed, Intel Capital, Nexus Venture Partners, and Sierra Ventures.
