Endoscopic Technologies Raises $8M

San Ramon-based Endoscopic Technologies, a developer of cardiac surgery devices, announced today that the firm has raised $8M in a n equity financing raise. According to the firm, the funding was led by NBGI Ventures, and also included Saints Capital Everest, Telegraph Hill Partners and Waveland Venture Partners. The firm said the funding came on top of an $11.3M financing raised by the firm in September of 2008. In conjunction with the raise, the firm said it named Tony Remington as its US Vice President of Sales; Remington joins the firm from EKOS Corporation, also having served at Guidant Cardiac Surgery, Medtronic Urology, and LeMaitre Vascular.
