Exeros Acquired By IBM
IBM said today that it has acquired the assets of Santa Clara-based Exeros, a provider of data discovery software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to IBM, it will use the buy to bolster its Business Analytics Optimization Consulting practice. Exeros developed technology to find relationships between databases, used for data warehousing and data management. IBM said that Exeros will be integrated into its Information Management Software portfolio. Exeros had received funding from AllianceBernstein, Bay Partners, and Globespan Capital Partners.
