Forge Gets $4.5M For Videogame Streaming
San Francisco-based Forge, a developer of software which allows gamers to capture and share their games, has raised $4.5M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by True Ventures, and also included Social Capital, NZXT, Resolute Ventures, and WME Ventures. The company said the additional funding brings its total raised to $9M. Arjun Sethi of Social Capital has joined the company's board as part of the funding. Forge lets users share their games, in real time, to Twitch, YouTube, and also to their social media channels.
