GetActive Acquired By Convio

Austin, Texas-based Convio said Wednesday that it is acquiring Berkeley-based GetActive Software, a developer of customer relationship management (CRM) software for associations and nonprofits. The companies did not disclosed terms of the deal. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of the first quarter of 2007. GetActive is venture backed by El Dorado Ventures and Pacific Partners.
