Global Energy Partners Acquired By EnerNOC

Walnut Creek-based Global Energy Partners, a firm which designs and implements utility energy efficiency and demand response programs, has been acquired by EnerNOC. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Global Energy Partners has 55 employees, has clients that include Pacific Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison, Bonneville Power Administration, Duquesne Light Company, the Midwest ISO, Inland Power & Light, Oklahoma Gas & Electric, and Portland General Electric, and others. EnerNOC said the acquisition will expand its addressable market.
