Global Equipment Services Buys Indian Firm

San Jose-based Global Equipment Services, a supplier of equipment design engineering, contract manufacturing, and other services to the semiconductor, solar, and other industries, said today that it has acquired Infotek, an Indian provider of equipment automation software. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Infotek employed 30, and was a division of Japanese firm WINS Ltd. Infotek will become GES Infotek.
