Good Technology Acquires Macheen

Sunnyvale-based Good Technology announced this morning that it has acquired Macheen, a mobile application service provider which helps connect corporate applications to the cloud. Financial terms of the buy were not anonunced. Good Technology said the move will help it offer up embedded, corporate data plans for businesses. Austin, Texas-based Macheen develops a wireless data service aimed at corporations, which allows for access only by corporate apps like email and CRM tools, and does not require a subscription to a full blown data plan. Macheen was venture backed by DFJ Mercury Venture Partners, GemVentures, North Bridge Venture Partners, and Qualcomm Ventures, and angels.
