Google Acquires Bitium

Google said Tuesday afternoon that it has acquired Bitium, Santa Monica, California developer of cloud identity and single sign-on software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. According to Google, the acquisition of Bitium will help it with its "Cloud Identity vision". Bitium was venture backed by Amplify LA, Double M Partners, Karlin Ventures, Lazerow Ventures, Polaris Partners, Resolute.vc, Social Leverage, and Moonshots Capital, as well as angels, and was founded in 2012.
