Google Buys Pixate

Mountain View-based Google has acquired Pixate, a developer of mobile app design and prototype tools. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Pixate said it ha joined Google's design team. Pixate was backed by Accel Partners and Y-Combinator. Pixate had only raised around $3.8M in funding. Pixate was led by Paul Colton.
