Graspr Gets Funding

Mountain View-based Graspr, an online video site focused on instructional videos, said today that it has raised a $2.5M round of funding. The funding came from Draper Fisher Jurvetson, and unnamed angel investors. According to Graspr, the funding comes as the company has launched a syndication platform and online video editor to help producers of instructional videos edit, promote, track, and distribute those videos to other sites. Graspr shares in advertising revenues from those instructional videos. According to Graspr, the firm was founded by Teresa Phillips, who has formerly served at Yahoo and Time Warner.
