IDT Looks To Acquire Tundra Semiconductor
San Jose-based Integrated Device Technology said Monday that the firm is looking to acquire Tundra Semiconductor Corporation, a developer of system interconnect semiconductors, in a deal worth CDN$120.8M. IDT said that its offer is a 12% premium to an existing acquisition offer for Tundra from Gennum Corporation. Both firms develops switching and bridging chips for embedded standards like RapidIO, PCI Express, and VME.
