Intermolecular Files For IPO
San Jose-based Intermolecular, a provider of research and development for the semiconductor and clean-energy industries, has filed for an IPO, saying Friday that it is looking to raise up to $200M. The firm says it will apply to list on either the Nasdaq Global Market or New York Stock Exchange as "IMI." The firm's IPO is being underwritten by Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, Barclays Capital,Pacific Crest Securities, and Needham & Company, LLC. Intermolecular is backed by ATMI, CMEA Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, Symyx Technologies, and U.S. Venture Partners, among others.
