Jawbone Buys BodyMedia

San Francisco-based Jawbone, the developer of headsets and other audio devices, said Tuesday that it has acquired BodyMedia, whic develops wearable health and exercise tracking monitors. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed, however, the acquisition has been reported to be worth more than $100M. BodyMedia was venture backed by Ascension Health Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, DFJ Triangle, InCube Ventures, and Comcast Ventures.
