Joyable Finds $2.1M To Help Conquer Social Anxiety
San Francisco-based Joyable, a startup developing technology it says helps people overcome social anxiety, has raised $2.1M in a seed funding round. The funding came from Thrive Capital and Harrison Metal. The startup, co-founded by Peter Shalek and Steve Marks, says it uses a technique called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help people who suffer from social anxiety, combining software and coaches who help clients work through their anxiety issues.
