Kazeon Acquired By EMC

Mountain View-based Kazeon Systems, a developer of e-discovery software, has been acquired by storage giant EMC. EMC did not disclose financial details of the buy. Kazeon develops electronic discovery software used by corporations, legal service providers, government entities, and law firms, and is used for both the ediscovery process as well as litigation readiness. EMC said it will offer Kazeon's product as part of its EMC SourceOne family, saying that the firm will become part of EMC's Content Management and Archiving Division. Kazeon was venture backed by Clearstone Venture Partners, Focus Ventures, JK&B Capital, Menlo Ventures, and Redpoint Ventures.
