LSI Sells Thailand Facility

Milpitas-based LSI Logic said Tuesday afternoon that the firm has completed sale of the firm's Pathumthani, Thailand semiconductor assembly and test operation. The sale, which had been announced in July, was to STATS ChipPAC Ltd. LSI said that STATS ChipPAC has offered employment to "subtantially all" of its manufacturing employees at the facility.
