Merced Systems Buys Practique Associates

Redwood Shores-based Merced Systems, a provider of sales and service performance management software, said Thursday that it has acuired Practique Associates, a Uk-based provider of incentive compensation management software. Financial terms of the acquisition deal were not announced. Merced that Practique Associates will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of the firm. Both companies provide software to manage the sales process and staff. Merced Systems is venture backed by Sutter Hill Ventures.
