Salesforce Buys MapAnything
San Francisco-based Salesforce said on Wednesday that it has acquired MapAnything, a developer of location-based mapping software. MapAnything is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. MapAnything's software is based on Salesforce, and provides map-based visualization, asset tracking and route optimization for field sales and service teams. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced.
