Omnisio Acquired By Google's YouTube

YouTube, the online video sharing web site owned by Google, said Wednesday afternoon that it has acquired Palo Alto-based Omnisio, a startup that allowed users to annotate and insert comments into videos. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Omnisio was founded by Ryan Junee, Julian Frumar, and Simon Ratner, and was backed by Y Combinator.
