Piczo, Stardoll Merge

San Francisco-based Piczo, a web site for teenagers, has merged with Stardoll, an online social networking and virtual world for young teens, the firm said today. Financial terms of the merger were not disclosed. According to the firms, they will become the Stardoll Network, a network of sites focused on tween and teens. The firms said that Piczo.com will continue to run as part of the Stardoll Network; Piczo was founded in 2004, and had raised at least $15M in venture funding from Catamount Ventures, Mangrove Capital Partners, Sierra Ventures, and US Venture Partners.
