Planitax Gets $5M

Emeryville-based Planitax, a provider of hosted, software-as-a-service tools for corporate tax departments, has received a Series C funding. Planitax said today that the round was led by existing investor Mobius Venture Capital, and also included participation from existing investors Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Access Venture Partners. Frank Mendicino, III, of Access, will join the company's board. Access develops tools used by corporate tax departments to manage SOX and audit compliance requirements. More information »
