Playdom Names CTO

Mountain View-based social gaming firm Playdom said Monday that it has named David Sobeski, former a SVP at Yahoo!, as its Chief Technology Officer. Sobeski most recently headed Yahoo's Open Strategy and Data platform efforts, and also served at Microsoft, in a number of positions covering Windows Vista, Microsoft Exchange Server, and MSN.com.
