ProWorks Acquired By Canadian Firm

Santa Clara-based ProWorks, a provider of electronics manufacturing services, has been acquired, according to British Columbia-based Creation Technologies. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to Creation Technologies, the buy broadens the firm's California and West Coast footprint. Creation's San Jose Business Unit will be integrated with ProWorks' facility. According to Creation Technologies, the new merged unit will have more than 275 employees, and will be headed by ProWorks current President and CEo, Bill Moradkhan.
