Rosum Names New CEO

Rosum reported this morning that it has hired Brad Anderson as chief executive officer. The Mountain View-based firm said Anderson succeeds Skip Speaks, who held the CEO post for the past five years. Speaks will remain on the company's board of directors, Rosum said. Rosum credited Anderson with more than 18 years of experience in leading high-technology product and service companies. Most recently, Rosum noted, he was president of SigNav Inc. Rosum added that Anderson's first management role came in 1985 when he launched his own company, Network Cable Systems Inc. Rosum is a privately held business back by Charles River Ventures, Allegis Capital, TruePosition Inc., Steamboat Ventures and KTB Ventures.
