SpaceTime Insight Acquired By Nokia

San Mateo-based SpaceTime Insight, which develops machine learning software used for the transportation, energy, and utility industry, has been acquired by Finland-based Nokia, the two companies announced this morning. Financial details of the buy were not announced. Nokia said it will use the buy to expand its Internet-of-Things (IoT) portfolio and IoT analytics capabilities. SpaceTime Insight was venture backed by such investors as Zouk Capital, Opus Capital Ventures, EnerTech Capital, and Novus Energy Partners, among others.
