Sterling Commerce Completes Comergent Deal
Sterling Commerce, a subsidiary of AT&T which provides multi-enterprise collaboration solutions, said today that it has completed its acquisition of Redwood City-based Comergent, in a deal worth $155M in cash. Comergent is a developer of software for order management, used for supply chain management by enterprises. Comergent is backed by Cisco Systems, Crosspoint Ventures, INVESCO Private Capital, Mobius Venture Capital, and Morgan Stanley. The deal was initially announced in November.
