DVDPlay Raises $20M

DVDPlay, a Los Gatos-based company developing standalone DVD rental kiosks, has raised $20M in a Series A venture round from El Dorado Ventures, Emergence Capital Partners, Palo Alto Venture Partners, and Vanguard Venture Partners. The firm is targeting fast food chains, grocery stores, and universities, and currently has a deal with McDonalds to pilot the firm's kiosks. More information »
