AOL Buys GameDaily

AOL said today that it has acquired San Francisco-based GameDaily from Gigex, Inc. GameDaily is an online publication that provides coverage of video games and entertainment. Financial terms were not disclosed. AOL will acquire both GameDaily's website, and its newsletter for integrating into its AOL Video Games website. The acquisition follows the firm's recent acquisition of Userplane, a firm in the community/social networking space.
