Thomson Buys LiveNote

The Thomson Corporation said late yesterday that it has acquired San Francisco-based LiveNote Technologies, a provider of transcript and evidence management software for litigators and court reporters. Financial terms were not disclosed. Thomson said that LiveNote's software will complement Thomson West's litigation solutions.
