NeoCarta Adds Newman As Venture Partner

San Francisco-based NeoCarta Ventures said today that it has added Barry A. Newman as a Venture Partner. Newman joins NeoCarta from Bear Stearns, where he was Senior Managing Director and Vice Chairman of the Technology Group. Newman has also been an investment banker at Banc of America Securities, Nationsbanc Montgomery Securities, Salomon Brothers, and Anthem Partners. NeoCarta is a $300M venture capital firm focused on early and mid-stage technology companies. The firm's recent investments include Narus, Zoom Systems, and Handango. More information »
