EA Buys Headgate Studios

Redwood Shores, California-based Electronic Arts said today that it has acquired Utah-based developer Headgate Studios. Financial terms were not disclosed. EA said that Headgate Studios will remain in Bountiful, Utah and work on development of titles for Nintendo Wii. Headgate has produced titles for EA since 2000 on titles such as Tiger Woods PGA TOUR and Madden NFL.
