HP Opens Labs In Russia
Palo Alto-based HP said today that it is opening up a lab in St. Peterburg, Russia, to advance the firm's information management technologies. HP said the move was an extension of its strategy of establishing research centers in growing economies. HP also maintains labs in Beijin, Bangalore, Bristol, U.K, Haifa Israel, and Tokyo. According to HP, the new lab will work on new methods for extracting, analyzing and organizing useful information from the vast explosion of data created by the World Wide Web and other sources.
