Business Engine Acquired By Planview

San Francisco-based Business Engine, which provides IT portfolio management, has been acquired by Texas-based Planview. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Business Engine develops software used by enterprises for planning and managing IT initiatives, and has received venture funding from Oak Investment Partners, Technology Crossover Ventures, and Morgan Stanley Venture Partners.
