Data Domain Files For IPO

Santa Clara-based Data Domain has filed for an IPO, saying in a filing with the SEC Friday that it is looking to raise up to $100M. The firm is looking to trade on the Nasdaq Global Market as DDUP. The firm's IPO is being underwritten by Goldman, Sachs & Co., Morgan Stanley, Thomas Weisel Partners, and Pacific Crest Securities. The firm is backed by Greylock Partners, New Enterprise Associates, and Sutter Hill Ventures.
