Braccia Joins Accel

Palo Alto-based venture capital firm Accel Partners announced Monday that it has added Andrew Braccia to the firm's Palo Alto office. Braccia is the former VP of Consumer Web Search at Yahoo. Andrew will help Accel identify investment opportunities in consumer Internet and software. According to Accel, Braccia played a key role in Yahoo's launch of Yahoo! Answers, its acquisition of Flickr, along with a significant role in acquisition and integration of Inktomi, Overture, and Alta Vista. More information »
