PGP Gets $27.3M
Palo Alto-based PGP Corporation, the developer of the popular PGP encryption algorithm and related technology, said today it has closed $27.3M in a Series C funding round. Investors in this round include Intel Capital, D.E. Shaw Group, along with existing investors DCM and Venrock. PGP said that the funding will go towards accelerating organic and inorganic technology development and expansion of its channel. PGP currently sells its key management technology to enterprises, along with disk encryption software, and other encryption software. More information »
